That’s what Singapore Science Festival is sharing this year with the theme of ‘This is Science’ through a lot of exciting things. The annual fest is bringing more than 50 shows, workshops, exhibitions and activities for everyone to learn about the role of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics play in our daily lives. Meaning, there is everything for those who love to inquire, imagine and invent.
From learning chemical transformations that take place in baking with Kate Mulcahy through ‘Incredible Edibles, The Chemistry of Cookies’, magical science in “The Impossible” Science Sessions with Jason Latimer from the USA, to visiting Singapore’s largest slime installations.

Science Buskers Festival
Come and Support the young scientists who will show and tell about their love of science through their different projects. It’s happening at Plaza Singapura’s Outdoor Plaza on the 30th August (12.30 p.m. to 6 p.m.) and 31st August (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
“The Impossible” Science Sessions with Jason Latimer
The well-known American magician Jason Latimer will show you some of his little secrets to “The Impossible” from bending light to shaping water. The Awardee of Golden Grolla Award from the Masters of Magic, together with David Copperfield and David Blaine, will share the wonder of science to ignite the curiosity of these young learners in STEM.
X-periment!
Experience various hands-on scientific research in the X-periment! brought by A*STAR together with Singapore Science Centre. Discover the cutting-edge innovations and great science discovery as a family in this two-day science Carnivals.
