Terms and Condition

     Upon enrolment into one2tuition classes, both private and semi-private classes, the student/parent/guardian      hereby agrees to and accepts the terms and conditions stated herein:

     REGISTRATION

     A refundable deposit of 2 lessons fee will be collected upon enrolment (per student per subject basis).

     NO-SHOW AND LATE CANCELLATIONS

  1. In the event that classes are not cancelled 24-hours before the start of the class or the student did not show up for the class, class will be fully chargeable or submission of an official Medical Certificate or official School Announcement/letter is required. If the MC/school letter is not received, there will be no replacement class or full refund of the session (where applicable) and the class will be deemed as attended. Applicable to all regular classes and/or camps/workshops organised by one2tuition Learning Space.

  2. Students are required to maintain a minimum of 75% of attendance during regular school months or 50% of attendance during school holiday months to ensure effectiveness in the learning of the students. If the student is unable to fulfil the minimum attendance, the class slots may be released to the next student on the waiting list.

 

     TRIAL LESSON POLICY

     New Students may register for one-time one (1) trial lesson. Pre-payment is required to confirm a space in

     the class. Please refer to fees payment policy. One time rescheduling is allowed. Rescheduled classes are to

     be completed within 1 month from original date of trial class.

 

     FEES PAYMENT

  1. It is agreed that all fees paid are strictly non-refundable.

  2. Fees for regular classes and/or camps/workshops organised by one2tuition Learning Space must be paid within twenty-four hours (24h) from the time of booking to confirm the student’s space for the class. If payment is not received within 24-hours from the time of booking, the class slots may be released to the next student on the waiting list. The centre reserves the right to refuse attendance if payment has not been received by the due date.

  3. All fees are subject to review and revision.

  4. Monthly fees will vary from 3 to 5 sessions per subject monthly, depending on the number of weeks in the month.  

  5. No refunds will be given for unused portions of the fees.

  6. Our preferred payment method is via Paynow or Bank transfer. We do not accept cash payments.

  7. The invoice will be sent out on the 25th of each month and payable within 3 (three) days. These fees will cover the fees for the number of sessions for the following month.

  8. In the event of a one2tuition Learning Space class or programme being unable to run at the centre due to unforeseen circumstances, the programme may be transferred to an online platform.

 

     REPLACEMENT LESSONS FOR REGULAR CLASSES

  1. A replacement class will be offered if the class is cancelled more than 24 hours in advance. No-show or Late cancellation policy applies.

  2. Replacement classes have to be completed within one month from the original scheduled class, otherwise it will be forfeited.

  3. Replacement classes are subjected to availability of classes, especially on peak hour classes. Replacement classes booked are not entitled to further replacement credits.

  4. Payment for a full term remains applicable even if your child misses any class.

  5. In the event the regular teacher is unable to conduct the regular class, the centre reserves the right to reschedule the class or replace the class with a replacement teacher.

  6. The centre reserves the right to reschedule or to cancel a class at any point of time during the term due to unforeseen circumstances.

  7. In the event of tightened restrictions due to unforeseen circumstances, class replacement sessions for all programmes may be ceased and resumed at the time decided by one2tution Learning Space.

 

     NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL

  1. A written notice of withdrawal must be written and submitted one (1) month in advance for the deposit to be fully refunded.

  2. For graduating students, deposit will be fully returned should the students wish not to continue upon graduation.

 

     REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT

  1. The refundable deposit shall be refunded upon receipt of written notice of withdrawal or graduation.

  2. The refundable deposit shall be forfeited for the following reasons:

    • The student fails to take up the reserved place in a class.

    • If notice of withdrawal of the student is not received in writing as set out in Clause no. 6.

    • The student is absent for the first two weeks of term without notification. If no notification has been received by this time, it shall be deemed that the Parent has withdrawn the student from the programme. However, the student’s place shall be held if the full fee for the month has been paid.

  3. All refunds, where applicable, shall be made within thirty (30) working days from the end of the current term, minus outstanding fees and penalty fees, if applicable. All refunds shall be made through Bank Transfer or Paynow.

 

     GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. All costs incurred as a result of any damage, injury, loss, expense or liability that may be caused to public and/or private property by the student will be borne by his/her parents/guardians.

  2. By entering our premises, you consent to the use of your child’s and your photograph, voice, likeness, and image in any broadcasts or promotional purposes of this space or event and in subsequent productions or promotional purposes drawn from video or audio recordings of this space or event. one2tuition Learning Space owns the copyrights to our students’ work and compositions completed throughout the duration of the programme. one2tuition Learning Space has the right to reproduce or publish our students’ works for advertising or other purposes.

  3. one2tuition Learning Space reserves the right to replace or change class teachers without prior notice.

  4. one2tuition Learning Space reserves the right to amend the above terms and conditions without prior notice.
